Thanks for the tips everyone...it looks like the problem is in the lines and not the appliance. Every other tap in the house has great pressure and temperature-- we checked everything. The only problems really lie in the sink and dishwasher. However, we are following all leads!!
We'll keep testing and see what we can come up with. If we're still stumped by week's end, then I guess we'll have to call in the big guns!
